MINI GOLF
Men’s, Women’s & Mixed will play on the same night for each division. All teams play at the same time, having one player on 2 teams is not possible for this event.

Practice locations are offered at a first come first serve basis reservations are required at all locations

You must tell Adventure Landing you are with Corporate Challenge to get the discount. Coupons will not be distributed
Check in Procedure
Athletes should check in each day at the registration table at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled competition.
Appropriate identification must be presented at the time of registration.
Acceptable forms of ID
EVENT CHECK IN
WAIVERS
Team Captains must have their rosters completed and online by the date referenced on the individual rules. These rosters will be used by Corporate Challenge staff to print the Team Waivers that will be signed at event check-in. Players present their identification to the volunteers at the registration desk and all team members must sign the form.
CHECK IN
All players must check-in at the registration table prior to their initial game. Please refer to individual events for clarifications on check-in. Each participant must sign the team waiver form, and must produce identification.
Participation in the Richardson Corporate Challenge is restricted to company employees, retirees, contractors and spouses. In order to ensure fairness, participants will be asked to produce at least one acceptable form of ID.
ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID
– An employee photo ID (security) card
– Driver’s license
– Other photo ID
OTHER ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID
– A company benefits card
– A letter signed by the company’s human resources department verifying that the participant is employed by the company.
– A company pay stub, or photocopy
– An official company business card
– A corporate credit card
NO ID = NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTIONS
Team Captains must have the Team Roster completed and online by the deadline located on each event rule page.
UNACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID
– Letters from human resources with a ‘fill in the blank’ for the employee name.
– Personal credit cards or other non-photo ID cards
Participation Points
– A complete team will earn 30 participation points
– Complete teams consist of six different people; men’s, women’s and mixed pairs.
– Incomplete teams will earn one point for each participant
– Teams will be awarded 2 medals per pair
Substitution Information
– Substitutions (male for male and female for female) will be allowed prior to the START of the event for all players.
– No substitutions are allowed after a team’s first round has begun.
– Failure to continue to play, whether due to injury, prior commitment, poor performance, or any other reason, will result in a score of (5) on each hole not played by both players.
Uniforms
– There is no uniform requirement, but it is encouraged that each company wear their Corporate Challenge shirt
Corporate Challenge will Provide
– All equipment through Adventure Landing.
– Players may bring their own putter and ball.
Governing Body
There is no general governing body for this event
– Play will be Scotch Doubles format where players will alternate shots until the ball is sunk. The person putting the ball into the cup will putt second on the next hole.
– Loose impediments may be removed from the course
– Each team may only carry 2 putters, which can be shared with their team mate
– The team listed first on the score card will putt first on the first hole. The team with the lowest score on the hole will have honors and putt first on the next hole.
– The team with the lowest score after 18 holes will putt first in the second round.
– Players can place the ball anywhere behind the metal railing at the opening of the hole, carpet, tee-mat or concrete
– A team must finish each hole with the ball they start with, balls may be switched between holes.
– One team must successfully putt the ball into the cup before the next team begins, only one ball on the carpet at a time.
– A moving ball may not be putted, any player who putts a moving ball shall return the ball to the tee and play the hole again, counting ALL previous strokes.

– If a ball should strike a spectator or player while on the playing surface, the ball shall be replayed from the original spot with no penalty.
– There is a 5 storke limit on each hole, if a team does not make the ball into the cup on the 4th stroke, they shall pick up and record a 5 on that hole.
– If a ball is putted and comes to rest outside the boundaries of the hole, the ball may be replaced by hadn on club head length away from the exit point, no closer to the cup if possible with a 1 stroke penalty.
– If a ball comes to rest against a rail or obstacle the ball can be placed one putters head length from the rail or obstacle, no closer to the cup (if possible) without improving the ball’s line to the cup.
– No coaching allowed, if coaching occurs 1 warning will be given, this will be a warning to your entire group. If this occurs a 2nd time results in the offenders removal form the palying area with a 1 stroke penalty assessed to the associated team.
Grounds for Disqualification
– All scorecards in the group must match. Each team will keep score for ALL teams in the group.
– If the scores do not match, all teams will be disqualified
– Any player arguing with the event coordinator will be given 1 warning, any additional altercations will result in disqualification of that team from the tournament. All decisions made by the event coordiatnor are final.
Pace of Play
– To keep pace of play, always be ready to putt
Scoring
– Each pairs score will be deteremined by the total strokes from 36 holes.
– Medals will be awarded based on overall finish of each team Men’s, Women’s and Mixed per division
